What is a tourist visa?
A tourist visa is a conditional permit granted by a specific country to a foreigner, allowing them to enter, stay, and visit the host country. Typically, a tourist visa can include the length of time the individual can stay, the areas within the country they may enter, the dates they can enter, and the number of visits allowed in the country.
This type of visa has various uses and types, and people apply for a tourist visa based on their circumstances and reasons, such as tourism, visiting relatives, attending a congress or conference, medical treatment, or business travel. Tourist visas are considered short-term (temporary) visas and are issued on a single-entry basis. There are three methods for obtaining a tourist visa.
A tourist visa is a travel document or identity document issued by a government or an international treaty organization to facilitate the movement of individuals or small tourist groups across international borders, following international agreements. Tourist visas are either in paper form or in electronic form. The most common travel document is a passport, with the visa stamped inside.
